right the hyper pro springs i have are from jhs racing, they are for the k3 onwards and i have a curvy however as he gave them to me he said its fine as they are the same for both models....so they should fit correct?
Iam lifting the bike up by abba stand and a jack under the engine. I have disturbed wiring, but i cant see anything different to how it was...all seems the same, sooo i dont know why it aint working. Ill put the fuses in in the morning when i get them and see, hopefully itll fire uyp...but when has my life been that simple!? thanks again andy |

have you tried matching the length of the original springs and spacers against the new ones?
Just as a matter of interest, did you workout your static sag, to enable you to set the right spacer length? And I seem to remember the the three new SV's we done didn't have the same length springs as the couple of curvys, unless of course you're not supposed to be using any spacers and the springs are progressive? but does sound a little odd  Just a thought. Cheers Mark. |
hmm, the progressive springs and my sacers are longer than origional springs and spacers...
interesting that curvy spacers are longer than k3 on...however ill have to wait till tuesday to see him now as its the useful bankholiday...great for everyone except me...wo needs to see jhs... i havent worked out the static sag, from what i can gather the kit should automatically do the static sag to i think it was 2cm. without the springs in there is a good 3cm gap between the washer on the top of the spring and the fork tube top...so i cant see not using the spacer as an option... at the moment old springs are in there with the new oil...but i would like to use my £97 worth of springs and oil together... i think it looks like wait till tuesday and complain bitterly... unless anyone knows different!?!? thanks Andy |

My Hyperpro springs for my Bros was a drop in as Rob said. I think it's fair to say your problem is that the springs were originally for the pointy. That does not mean it might not :?: work as all you need to do is cut the spacer down. Having said that , if I have paid for a kit that is supposed to be a drop in personally I'll send it back and request the correct kit. Cheers Ben ps: With progressive Kits , IMHO it is best to start of with the recommendations of the Kit Manufacturers. My static Sag for my Bros was supposed to be roughly about 23mm and it was spot on. |
