mine at the moment comes on about 120 miles...
Though must be reflecting on my full throttle method of riding to work  |
I've had about 160 miles out of my SV before the fuel light came on.
Might have been because i was on the motorway for most of them miles though... Think it only took about 14 litres when i filled up. Dan |

i hit 164 miles before the light went solid, woo!

On a motorway journey i managed 170 miles before the reserve light came on, I didnt push it any further as there was a service station just up ahead but 170 miles worked out to be about 60mpg, not to shabby
Though I have gone up one on on the rear sprocket so it would be out but not sure by how much |
Reserve light started blinking today....at 182.4 miles on the trip. :D
I was quite happy at that!!!! Was hoping to hit the 200 mark...bet I could if I reduced the amount of blats about town I had. 201 miles now and the reserve light still isn't solid. |
JesusChrist ! You got a weak right wrist or something ? .
Cheers Ben |
5000 revs was my redline for the past 4 days.

Class mate.... what model SV you on? Have you been keeping to A/M roads and tucked in?

Commute to Uni everyday, its about 20 miles of NSL/motorway and maybe 8 of 30's and 40's. Plus a stint through the the glasgow city centre. Going to fill it up with bp optimax today and will try and crack the 200 mark. Made my hornet get 1/5 more tank range so it's worth a crack. I'm on a 1999 curvey, half faired version. |
