If you didn't even scrape the tank then you did just fine. Sadly the tachometer always gets it on our bikes :(

I wish I could remember how many times I've gone down..... I'm sure it's probably a pretty big number!

I need to change the rear brake lever on my neighbours SV tomorrow. Is it the same procedure as for the gear lever? And also, er, could you word it a little more simply :oops: I don't know what a coller or peg brackets are.. :oops:

DO you undo the whole plate that has the footpeg assebly attached to it, or can you access the bolts round the back ok with it still on? Also, they don't look like regular bolts to me, more like notched wheels, like on the clutch lever adjuster.
