tbh alton towers is probably a lil bit better than drayton manor but only just!!!!!!!!

Some excellent advice on here, my daughter goes at the end of June with the school - their day out for leaving!

I'll send her with the travel sickness pills and aqua drops then :thumleft:

Went to Alton Towers on Saturday on a proper sunny day.

Got sunburnt a bit so a hat and suncream good idea too :oops: :(

A bit of a queue for every ride but a 'nice day out' all the same. A top tip is try to find those vouchers that are always about. Got in for free with a full payer. Saves money that :D

Odd roller coasters eh? They always advertise that they are reet scary and rip yer head off...but are a gentle ride with a few corners instead.

I'll stick wi' me SV if I want scary. :wink:

60% of people at Alton Towers at any one time are throwing a sickie off work to be there!
