If it has MPH on the clockface (not an overlay) the odometer will be in miles too.

The light starts to flash when you're getting low on fuel, ie into reserve, then when it stays on constantly you need to be refilling within about 10 miles. I don't tend to push it this far into the reserve, flashing light usually indicates me to fill up.

Is that the right way round? because mine stays constant first and I was relying on it flashing before I had a problem - never seen it flashing yet even 50 miles after it first came on!

Depends which pointy. I think the K3 & K$ pointies work differently the K5's

You can if youa re careful get 200 miles out of an SV thank, 40 miles on the flashing light and another 37 on solid, this however leads to the fact that if you corner to the right, your bike cuts out as it only has 300ml of fuel left!!

I've only managed 187 when it died...

Viney and Grinch, your living on the edge! I wussed out at 175miles and filled up pronto.

I used to get about 145miles to a tank before I got the fuelling sorted at the Dyno Station, get loads more miles now and a smoother ride. The fuel I save will probably pay for the Dyno set up :)
