The one thing I think the R & G's have in their favour is the new style ones dont involve having to cut your fairing to get them to fit. |
i have a k3, lowers, and R&Gs...didn't cost me £100+, i think about £80 (maybe £75) and fitted myself! only ever tested them once, was on an incline and came to a stop, bike started to go over, held it up for a bit at 45 degrees then fell off :P
no damage apart from some extra scratches on the mirror and (unfortunately!) a broken gear change lever. i bought a new one for £38 odd from a dealer, but i could have repaired it with the old drill n bolt method that's been mentioned a few times on here... Anyway, i think they're worth it. |

If you decide your gonna go for the r&gs i have a set of the bottom brackets for the lower fairings i'll send you.
I read in another post you wanted to know if you could just use the r&g's to attach the middle of the fairing saving you purchasing the fitting kit for the brackets. Yep you can do that and i'll send you the brakets you need for attaching the bottom of the fairing lowers at the back then all you will need is a bolt for the radiator attachment and some of those push pin rivets for joining the two halfs in the middle. if you want them pm me your address. Put it this way, almost anything is better than nothing. (The almost is for those of you that will come up with a 'no they might damage...' type of comment) |

I highly recommend R&G crashbungs as they have saved me money on quite a few occasions! I chucked my K3 SV down the road, up the road and toppled over  and each time the crash bungs protected my fairings.
