This is exactly why i never like to have my lid out of sight or out my hands. Friday nights in soho are the wrost cos any drunken fool with no intention of nicking my bike may take a fancy to my lid and wander off with it. Then what am i gonna do?

Im curious... would a recovery service (such as AA) take a stolen lid as a valid reason for recovery?

Tbh, my pikey-meter would have tripped as soon as they asked that question.
I would have responded with something like, "oh its not mine I'm borrowing it from my friend. Its a bit scary though, he works for the government so if I dropped it he'd probably have me killed". |
