I had a Dyson once (ex wife got custody of it) and the first time I used it on the carpets, the amount of crud it got up was frightening.
It was one of the upright ones, never had any problems other than the odd drive belt on the brush, I used to strip down the cylinder and wash it out, never had any problems with clogging. |
Thanks guys - really useful input. :D

If there's only two of you I reckon a dishwasher should consist of a sink full of soapy hot water and a scourer.
I know I'm old fashioned like that. I've had the basic Dyson for years and it seems to do the trick BTW |
There's only one of me now and I'd still have a dishwasher if i could afford one.... :(
 I've got a Dyson (upright)... |
Thing is I've never had a dishwasher so I don't miss it at all

Still got a Dyson that is 7 years old and still going strong, bought it to remove a daily dosage of fur from our long haired german sheppard  Sadly he is no longer with us, but it works just as good on cat hair.. got 2 of them now. Only thing I'd say is to service it once a year to get all the dust out from inside the motor workings, it's surprising what gets through.
Dunno about dish washers though.. thats my job  |
get the dyson! altho the new dysons are made abroard and aint at good as the original :? ive got the dc01 upright and have had it 6years with no problems.

Dyson upped sticks and cleared off to China from Swindon a couple of years ago leaving his workforce high and dry IIRC.I now would'nt buy a new one on principle, but I'm odd like that.I still won't buy anything to do with Murdoch after Wapping.Yes us Dinophants have long memories. :x

How many grown (male) bikers are there who sit and talk at length about vacuum cleaners and dishwashers??
Call yourself men?? Get a dishwasher that can take engine blocks and stuff the vacuum cleaner!!! |
