I think it's probably the opposite. They know they have some serious competition and have probably gone back to the drawing board. Expect the K8 to be a winner.

Other way 'round I'd guess, the competition is good, too good for a minor revamp to hold sales. Hopefully they've decided to rethink comprehensively.

The can has the catalytic convertor in it, thought that was why it was so heavy, and why it runs ridiculously hot.
