Its just the wheel
|
Just to let people know, the wheel was off a 600 Bandit in the end and had tec 1 on it. I took an original out of my curvy and it is identical in every way (except in colour). My original curvy wheel has tec3 on, I still have no idea of the relevance of this?
So boys and girls, if you want a front wheel for your curvy then looking for a Bandit 600 wheel will widen your search!! There are/were a few variants of front wheel on the Bandit over the years, but if you get one that has spokes that look like the SV ones (i.e. straight) and it has the same code on as the SV they appear to be identical!!! Now my next question is "Do Bandit 600 discs fit the curvy too!?!?” (I didn't get discs with the wheel). Bandit stuff seems cheaper than SV … I guess supply and demand and all that!! |

I found stuff on here about Bandit 1200 wheels, but nothing about 600 wheels. And no one came up with anything conclusive after my initial post :P  I also notice that the bandit discs have more 'buttons' ... but the important thing is that the diameter, swept area, thickness and 'offset' etc etc are the same ... As long as that is the case I would have no qualms about getting some Bandito as opposed to SV discs and from what you are saying that is the case?!!? :) |
Yep the 2000 onwards definitely fits..
