Little do you know, a second after Socommk23's avatar pic was taken he rode into a railway track :)

Exactly. Focussed on where he didn't want to go — and went there  . So easy to do though, which is why experience is often a painful affair.

My theory - saw the corner started to lay it over - saw the tracks - thought slippery/must slow down - to much brake and stood it up. Doh!

I think he wasn't concentrating and genuinely thought the track was the road, by the time he realised, he was offline and doing an enormous stoppie. He wasn't going too fast to easily make the corner anyway, they were just cruising.

I suspect 'middle of the pack' boredom, his mind had just switched off.

Ouch.

Might be my eyes, but looks to me like the corner tightens part way through. That, combined with the 'all metal is slippery' ideology & hit the brakes to slow down. Lucky he stopped before he (or his bike) went off that drop as the tracks go over a bridge by the looks.

oooouch.... proper smacks head on the rail track....

Kylie 18-08-06 07:03 PM

Aye, smacks his head really badly and I'm not 100% he has a helmet on either...
