Your's is not a double bubble.
It's one of those so called touring screens. |
i know its not a DB i just wondered whats the differance
|
My double bubble workes great... just helps push the wind blast just over my head, where as before it would smack me in the face.

What I mean that is that I find the double bubble on my SV diverts some of the wind over the top of my head and some of the wind onto my chest / shoulders. Which means that it diverts the wind away from my head and stops my head taking a buffeting from the wind. Which means my neck doesnt ache as much at the end of a long ride. Stu I'm a bit taller than you so I think that will make a difference to how effective / how the screen works to. |
the double bubble screens are more aerodynamic
where's those touring screens will work the same way but resist the wind more. you probably loose 1mph top speed! OMG. |
Probably not a lot of difference then. I love my F Fabbri screen, it doesn't make me faster but it does make me more comfortable when going fast. Doesn't totally divert the blast off my head but it means don't get it in the face.
All depends on the rider and riding position how well a particular screen works though. My nuvo used to batter me in the face and neck, but I know a shorter rider who loves his, because his head's that much lower down than mine :) Don't really know about the touring screens, but from the looks of it it'll deflect more air at the expense of aerodynamics. Which are rubbish on any bike anyway, so it's probably not much of a loss. Might be beter for the real world in fact. |
 it seems to send wind over my head(im short) its just most peeps have DBS & there is 1 for sale.. but i have more important things to sped £££ on (like fixing bike  )
|
Is that my one for sale? In that case, they're utterly essential
