In the rain I skid at about 50% of traffic lights in town. Brightens up the mood when I'm utterly soaked from having forgotten my waterproofs.

Each to their own, but can I borrow your gold lined trousers, I need a new back tyre...

Well do it in the privacy of your own home/runway/private carpark.

Dont put others at risk because you want to play.

Common sense - not nazism.

I wasn't putting anyone at risk with the lame lock up the back. Was doing it up to red light, if anything I would highsided at 5mph and just fallen over.

Sorry about the confusing post but I know the guy on the SV is a member so thought I would take a chance, the back came out sweetly.

Soulkiss, you ride into London ? I'll show you some wheelies and stoppies next time you riding around... (not very good stoppies though... )

Is that a threat or a promise ????? :)

Believe me I think that what some people can do on bikes is amazing, I even found myself remembering G's guide to wheelie's and had "1st gear, 4.5k revs, close it then open it again fast" going through my head on a quiet bit of road. :)

As for stoppies - well tried one the other day - didn't work out so well :( (ok so it was a SERIOUS emergency stop that turned into a stoppie unintentiionally)

As for location - well every weekday I head up Camberwell New Road, round The Oval and Vauxhall Bus Station, then over Vauxhall Bridge.

Didn't mean to go off on one, but while I think everyone is free to do what they want, I also think that others should not have to put up with the aftermath if it goes wrong.

Hope to see you on Vauxhall Bridge some day - Red SVS, www,sv650.org on the botoom of the numberplate :)

Don't use my real name ! :D Yeah, I don't seem to be a popular person on here

I know what you are saying Soulkiss but I kinda push a little but not to the point of endangering others or myself. Even though the Gixxer is fully comp I can't justify 2K worth of damage and loss of NCB if I loop a wheelie ! (hence the reason I keep em below balance point... )

Will keep an eye out for you...

Well I didn't expect it go out sideways like that and basically had to counter steer that slide !

Just wondering how it looked from behind cos I almost bloody highsided going in a straight line...

P.S: That duke 749 looked cool... 8)

How do you know you wouldn't have ended up on the pavement with the pedestrians?
Messing about is all fun and games until it goes wrong, and it sounds like you weren't entirely 'in control'.
