It was just a thought because the O ring is suppost to be changed every time the bolt is removed!!!

while im ther i might change oil & filter MYSELF it had a service 2000 miles ago??

I accuse the clutch casing o-ring... Or rather, the clutch casing itself, which can warp. Get the lowers off, clean the engine up as well as you can, ride it for a bit and see where the oil is.

That was what i was thinking it could be, it's the normal culprit

The oil is supposed to be changed every 3500 / 4000 miles odd as relates to the service schedule, changing the oil at 2000 miles is a waste of time money and effort IMO.

I have a major oil leak but i recon its either the drive shaft/clutch push rod oil seal, unforunatly the front sprocket has to be removed to change either of them. Grr.

Check the torque on the front sprocket seem to remember if this is not tight enough you can end up with oil coming past the seal.

Mine leaks... sometimes it doesn't... the engine has taken a whack and just ain't the same. Seems to seap a bit round the right hand cover, had the gasget replaced but after time it just seems to go.

Yep checked that, put the breaker bar on it and made sure it was tight.
