Mmm - it's very black isn't it. I like a splash of color. Gold would go well.

Gold is BAD.
Shiny silver stuff can be nice if not overdone. Anybody else think I'm a little anti-bling? I test rode the 600 version a few weeks ago. F@ck me that's alot of bike in such a small frame. Tiny little thing that feels like I might squash it, but it flies! Toe down (I know that's no big deal) were instant and completely unintentional. Probably would have put my knee down on the testride if I'd had my sliders on. I have to work hard to put my knees down on the SV (which is why I don't do it) All in all, an absolutely fantastic bike that I won't be buying because a) I can't afford one b) I want to keep my license. I'm still tempted, though. Black of course, though the red does look fantastic. |

Remember I think it was a K4 GSXR thou, it was all black with a red R and gold wheels it looked gorgeous IMHO. |
Mmmm, black. Your ideas sounds great. Black rearsets as well would finish it off.

Exactly. I hate bling. But, a little bit of gold on a mat or glass black bike, is nice. Not tons of it. Less is more. Reminds me of that Lotus F1 car too. |
looks fantstic, DO IT

Small touches of gold on black I think are nice. I saw a ZX10R at silverstone that was this way, very bling.

Fantastic, go for it, do it, have you got it done yet?
8) very nice indeed! |
i saw an R1 down at poole quay a while back that had the same scheeme to it, everything was matt black apart from red break lines, red rim tape, and i think that was it on there but i think that would also set the gsxr off, my mate with a K4 gsxr has been thinking of doing the same for ages, i think it would make it look sexy as, i love matt black bikes, especially when its a sext sportsbike anyway, gsxr, ninja, R1 etc. but a little contrast is needed in my opinion, and i think red is the way to go.
it will look sexy what ever you do tho! |
