My commute, pretty much from the first village I passed, police car in front of me. He pulls off the A55 the junction before me, good, so I nail the bike, now pretty much knowing I'll be late.
I come off at the next junction, right on the roundabout, heavy traffic, good, I'm on the bike :D Filter safely but aggressively to make time back. Next roundabout straight over, dodging the white van parked in the middle of the mini-roundabout, next roundabout left, wait in traffic a little bit and bummer, pick up another police car with 8miles left to work. There's no-where really to turn off on this road, so I know he's going to Denbigh. Damn.
So I'm sitting behind this police car, keeping a safe distance, and we're both speeding a little (I love it when they do that), next thing I know, a damn farmer decides he wants to move his herd of cows across the road to milk them. What a Wucking Fanker, 8:54, 6mins until work, and I'm waiting for cows to meander across the road.
So the cows pass, I set off again, behind the police car, and the heavens open. At least I'm wearing full waterproofs.
Get into town, up the back roads, go to turn left down a VERY small side road (my car doesn't fit down it further down) and there's a dustbin truck parked there. Another Wucking Fanker. He moves and I let a red estate ford go before me, only for him to stop, in the rain, to let his dog out of the boot & into a house.
So I finally get into work, late. Better late than never I suppose!
Little grumpy, but trying to look at it as though it could of been worse. Another lucky commute, I think. :?
