Thanks v much for the offers guys :D , but the scratchings really not that bad, only a graze about the size of a penny on the can. The indicator took most of the punishment!!

:( Stock indicators make pretty good protection, as long as they don't break the fairing... If you must crash it though, yoyu've got the right idea- do it stationary, when you're not riding it :)

I've bent the rear brake lever as well :? .

Found out this morning first time I tried to use it, nearly hit the back of a car in slow moving traffic when my foot couldn't find the lever, I was too close and only just had time to realise what had happened and grab the front brake before kissing a Fiesta's butt!

I'm going to go don to the car park and inspect the bike in daylight at lunchtime to see if there's anything else I've not noticed yet.
