Have another go. I filled in a form on-line on Surrey CC's website about a drain cover outside my house which clanked whenever a car went over it. They replaced it about a week later. Well impressed was I.

Ed,

Can I send you a list of roads round here?

nice going!

However not so sure the car drivers of the area will be so pleased when they get stuck in the traffic jams caused by the roadsworks! Give em a wave from us as you filter by won't you?

Nice one our Ed!

I inadvertently made Westminster Council repair a sunken cover at the top of Whitehall after my crash - according to the police it may have contributed to my off. Apparently it was filled within an hour of the crash! A bit extreme, but it worked.

I wrote too North Wilts Council about a massive hole but they said if you choose to live in Swindon then thats your fault :D

Well done mate

Well done on a positive outcome.

Here in the wilderness known as Wiltshire, if you complain big time about the road surface they ...... reduce the speed limit. Malmesbury to Wooton Basset riders take note. When they resurface the roads here, it's just a cover over the bumps (cheapest contractors yet again), the bumps are still there just as bad, just as dodgy but you can't spot em as easy.

Kwak I was thinkin exactly the same..

methinks the solicitors headed paper might have some bearing on the result..

oh and that you would have done it in your best joined up handwriting ED
