It all depends what you're into. For me, Swindon is not a good place to go bar hopping. I don't drink much now that I've left uni, anyway.
The Vic at the top of the hill (almost in Old Town) is good. Good music sometimes, good (ish) beer and generally very friendly. The Furnace is a rocky club. Quite kiddy when the bands are on and the music is a bit too varied for my tastes (too much radiohead/muse/whatever is trendy) I've not been to many other places. It doesn't say alot for the place that the most popular drinking establishment (by far) is the Walkabout. |
I went on a christmas do with work once and 28 yr woman couldnt get served. Since she had no id none of us could either.
The big push is if you dont look 21 now as so many under 18s look over eighteen. So rule is, take id out if you're in your early 20's. Simple. |
i've had no problem with id since i was 18.... until a while back when my licence was sent back to the dvla, then everyone asked! what a *******! :lol:
