WOMAN DRIVER

carlos 24-11-06 11:39 PM

Stupid woman, doesn't she know its illegal to mess around with signs and barriers, bet she hasn't even got a NR&SWA card

In all seriousness though, like VB said she is bloody lucky to be alive, as is everyone in the near vicinity. We had someone do the same into one of our cable trenches a few years back, but unfortunately for the elderly gentleman involved it was a quiet road out of rush hour and he was stuck under his buggy for hours until someone passed by. No laughing matter for him. Fortunately we had provided adequate footpath and pedestrianised area and the fault was purely on him.

The council and HSE will got to town on this (as they did with us) so I hope that whoever was running the job had got everything right or there will be heads rolling for it.

And as for the woman, lets just hope she gets another driving license in this years christmas cracker
