Yep I think so. I think its the motor from the CBR600RR detuned...

Love it...a top spec...but it is becoming less of a budget bike and more upmarket.

It smokes the SV but is £1,300 more expensive.

Who is going to pay top dollar for a Hornet when a GSXR-600 is about same cash.

Overpriced and missing the budget market.

Thats the thing though. the new hornet is not now honda budget 600. The CBF range is, allowing the hornet to be a bit more agressive.

I like it myself although seeing one in the flesh might be a bit different

But I remember when u could get a noo Hornet for £4,200. The CBF6 is bland and the CBF5 a bit too parallel twin 500cc. It looks like it could be a very good bike for £5k though.

If you think of it with a tail tidy so the tail is more Trumpet Triple esque then I reckon it looks like an awsome machine!

I like the styling. It looks very Z750 don't it?

But sadly it's a H***a, thus not a serious contender for your money.

The pipes are very pretty, and I like the slim rear end and the seat. 8)
Not keen on the billboard radiator though  and the separate clocks/lights just doesn't look right for some reason. Maybe if they mounted the light a little higher so that they could incorporate the clocks into it, it would make more sense  Seems like they've put the light lower to make it look more sporty......but the design just doesn't tie in with the rest of the bike........

What've you got against Honda, Sid?

The styling is a bit of a lash up.

I can see the ER-6, Z750 and the GSR600.

Do think is the new Z750 is a nicer design.
