I have two. A k3 and a k5. The k5 is off the road until the weather improves and I am still using the k3 as much as I can. (including yesterday, even at lunchtime)

Fill the petrol tank to the very top and also fill the oil to the very top. Will stop condensation and water build up in the tank and engine.

Just take it in turns to use them, thats what i do with my K5 and my Ducati, then no need to store either.

Me too - seems like a load of hassle, all this winter storage business. I just take it out for a ride 1-2 times a week.

Why not does it melt when you wash it.
No point keeping a bike and not riding it, it's no good being kept under a cover. My K5 is 18 months old and has nearly 25,000 miles on it, it's not an ornament it's a bike designed to be ridden.

Its got sugar fairings on it alright!

Okay, okay, I will tax it, get it round from the back of my house, drain the access oil that I have put in it for storage and risk getting caught in the rain. Cheers

No, do whatever you feel comfortable doing, i just know i couldn't do it, but then thats probably why my bikes have mileage on them like they've been to the moon and back and are worth nothing when i'm done with them.
