Saying on the WSB site that Kagayama has bust his collarbone

Japanese ace Yukio Kagayama (Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra) suffered a heavy fall in qualifying on day one, breaking his left collarbone and suffering a suspected punctured spleen, probably due to a suspected broken rib. He was flown to a hospital in Melbourne for more detailed checks and examinations

If Yukio has done his speen and colarbone and broken a rib then he would probably be out for this weekend and quite possibly more . The next race weekend isn't until the beginning of April ( Donnington on the 1st) and he may be fit for that but if not then there are 3 races in April and all at physical circuits so a replacement maybe needed , er Neil Hogdson anyone ?

or maybe there's someone who already rides a factory suzuki superbike whose season doesn't start for a few weeks yet ;-)

probably the other non-corona alstare suzuki rider will step up - Neikichner?

Oh no...I hope Yukio bounces back soon. I'm sure he will; after all, how many people do you know that can win two BSB races in a day with a still-not-quite-mended pelvis?!

So, vacent alstare seat...

...walker won a WSB race last season...

(wishfull thinking)

Matt

P.S. Go Toseland!!!!

That would be the one . :D :D

Certainly been very impressed with Neikichner , think he has deserved a better ride than his had recently ,Klaffi Honda should have stuck with him last season , and if the great Yukio is out then he deserves a chance . Can't see the Stalker getting an opportunity , as good as that would be the BSB season would be up and running by Donnington (not a moment to soon :D :D ) . Although since Yukio is cleary bionic and no doubt they will rebuild him his absense could well be confined to just this weekend . Will be amazed if he rides this weekend .

Front row for JT in superpole tomorrow , then 2 podium finishes and he will be off to flier for the season .
