I voted 'or not' based on the theory that the government would just have *****d the money away on something else if Les Grenouilles had got the games instead.

Did they bring in the 'capital cities only' rule after the Atlanta horrorshow?

Oh well, soon be time to check out the traffic in Glasgow - Candidate City Commonwealth Games 2014. Haud me back.

I would like to think that the redevelopment of a ****e part of London is a pretty good idea, AS LONG AS, the locals get to use the infrastructure and facilities afterwards.

But those who live in that 'orrible part of town must be rubbing their hands as the value of their property will double, unfortunately, so will the rates and the rents :(

Let's not knock it all though, I mean, we must be up for a new World Cup bid soon, new stadiums all over the country, having hosted Euro Champs, Commonwealth and soon to be Olympics, it's gotta be on the cards soon.

You never know, if we can get a half decent manager we may even stand a chance of winning it (as long as it doesn't go to penalties ;)

PS: If you happen to live in that part of the East End sorry if I upset you, but having to work out that way for years convinced that the best thing to do with it was to knock it all down and start again.
