Frankly, even if I could fix it I wouldnt. I wouldnt have the confidence on that bike after all it and I have been through. If I get back on a bike, it will be a new one. Plus, I dont get a choice. The insurers once they get that "cat A" write off automatically arange for its disposal and I am not allowed any salvage of it by the nature of the definition of a cat A write off. |

No worries, thought you had missed the bit about frame damage ;) :p The kerb is quite a small thing to hit in comparison to a ford fiesta :( I can wholly advise against hitting big things like cars and vans. Though the glad to be here reflections do make me appreciate life a little bit more atm. :D |
Re: Rip Sv
Bikes can be replaced but you can't.
Glad to hear that you're getting through OK and moving onwards. I'd be very suss of putting a badly damaged bike back on the road too (luckily yours is way beyond that), since any little skip or slip would make you doubtful. Take care, Garry;) |
Re: Rip Sv
RIP SV, it did not lead an easy life but with the love of Lyn and the fixing skills of Rictus, it lived a long and eventful life.
So glad it didn't take you with it. Love MT |
Re: Rip Sv
Ah, I'd missed that about the crash, sorry to hear it. I thought that bike was unkillable, obviously not. Still, could have been a whole lot worse.

Re: Rip Sv
What are you going to get next then Lyn :?:
