It's still very dull looking and is in desperate need of a aesthetic overhaul. I guess if you want a sedate ride that has comfort, price and ease of use you can't fault it but it's no looker to me. Bandit......? Blandit more like. What you want is a Hornet 900, that thing will rip your arms off and then proceed to beat you with them.

Now I'm probably on dodgy territory here, but why pidgeonhole yourself? A mate of mine who is also gay ha a gay Badmington squad, gay music lovers group. It's crazy. Are we not all people? Maybe I am being a little niave but I like people for the content of their character, not the sexual preference. I do though, understand how some people are still quite homophobic, which saddens and annoys me.

Anyway, I'll shut it now.

I totally agree.

It's not a case of pigeonholing myself: witness my membership of this site, my attendance the next Guildford ride out, and weekly trips to the Ace. It's just that I like to be the centre of attention, and as I'm pretty, and young, all the more mature types in the GBMCC make a real effort with me. On Sunday I got 2 free tanks of fuel, lunch bought and a couple of new PR contacts. :)

It's also about feeling like you belong. It's nice to know that you share things in common with people, and I really like the attitude of the GBMCC. They're not boring riders, but they don't do three figure speeds everywhere- a bit like me.

"Ain't no replacement for displacement!" :smt070

Not interested in the faired ABS thing, thats for grandads and the sam brown brigade( although not as square or as S-L-O-W as cb900/cbf1000;) ).

Both bikes will be a winner. Feck all cash for the both of them. Hopefully they have decent adjustable sussies.

Don't think wee get the naked for a coupla months yet. Gotta be a fun bike:crutches: with those kinds of torque figures. A proper bruiser/ sleeper.:thumright:

Wish the engine was black. Apart from that hopefully we still get the ol' suzuki trick of sticking a full system on it to release a shed load of torque and powa.

So its not all pish from suzuki this year, ie GSXR1000 gizmoed up sports tourer and the "who ate all the pies" B-urger-King production version of the original B-King.

Ok enough:-#

Bike Magazine gave it a very good write up this month too. They said that it was a huge improvement over the previous model and very good value.

Can't say that I personally like the styling, but I'm not the target market.

I took the new Bandit out last week and I must say I was Impressed. It pulled Like stampeding Rhino from 3,750 revs all the way to the top. It was smoooooooooth to ride and the perfect touring tool for the money. But it didnt exite me as much as I was hoping. I think I just love my sv too much.

Recommended though:D

That Italian version Hornet in Bike looks good too - the white one with pointy tail. I think I prefer this to the looks of the Bandit which still looks dated IMO. Still nice spec though - whats the price tag on it??

rode our demo down the M25 to Brands Hatch the other week. Very nice!. Not my type of bike but opened my eyes a tad. Very very capable and smooth engine..sat at a ton easily and comfortably. Very stable and well balanced and with the added extra of a adjustable seat height it made the bike easy to move around and live with for the time i was riding it.

Take one out...if your after smooth comfy riding and a dependable beasty i dont think you will go far wrong.
