Re: nowmy bike wont start
cant be owt too bad.. all lights are on - everything workin except ignition.
checked the 10 and 12 fuses- all fine. put a new 30 in and still nowt.. .. I reckon its that alarm and immobiliser it is just liek its immobilised. but then why did the 30 green fuse blow.? |
Re: nowmy bike wont start
aha cud be the alarm inline fuse huh? I go see.
|
Re: nowmy bike wont start
Was the fuse you replaced definately blown?
Did you disconnect the battery when working on the bike? Have you tried giving the battery a good charge? Alarms don't like loosing the battery connection, makes them think someones trying to disable the alarm and nick the bike. Even a low voltage from battery can cause problems. Do you have the manual for the alarm imobiliser? Have a read at that and look at the part regarding service modes, and battery disconnection. |
Re: nowmy bike wont start
If the alarm arms and then starts going off you've still got a problem somewhere...
If your keyfobs are not working, then it could be they need re-alligning with the control unit before they'll start working again. Same thing happened to me when my main fuse blew. |
