i did it with nero? or somthing b4, but its gone now the nice shop formated my pc

If it's a homemade DVD then it won't have any copy protection.

Film DVD's are encrypted to stop copying I think. It's illegal to copy films.

Do a Google search for 'DVD Decrypter' and 'DVD Shrink' - Both freeware & both superb for copying DVD's ;)
