Sundries only (or mine was). About £38. Labour is (or rather, was) free on the first service.

sorry my quote tags seem to have slipped!!!. Didnt notice it when i first posted it.

Thats ok..just get annoyed at being called all sorts of things..pee's me off a people generalise far too much. I know there are alot of places that deserve to be called what they do..but plenty that dont. There are some that do it for the love and to be generalised about upsets and makes you wonder why bother!.

Its funny too with discounts..had a cheeky sod in yesterday asking why i wouldnt give him trade on a new battery!!..so thats why i thought id see what reaction id get in Tesco's...made me feel a tad better anyway.

Fueling check is £25. Worth doing as all bikes need check every now and again. Fueling can change as the engine beds in or does more miles. Mine has changed a few times this season as the miles have been put on it.

500m service, depends if the place you bought it from gave you labour free first service. We do but its dealer choice. Oil and filter to pay for, so about £35 and then labour. Depending on what they charge per hour id say between £80-£120 dependant on area. Worth getting done on schedule.

Hmm. Next time I'm down your way I might well book it in then. No idea when that will be, as you're the wrong side of the M25 to me.

Nice website though, definately better than my local stealerships (deserved description of them).

No worries..ah yes I see your in Snowdonia..fair way away then!!!!.

Website still needs a few tweaks..just lacking in time to get it done. Working on getting an online shop sorted by the end of this year also. Big project though as i dont want it to be the normal type which sells the usual stuff.

Nothing - I got free servicing with the bike! :D

Morning all.
Thanks for the plug Baph, how's life in the stratosphere?:D

Strange comment SVRacer, what makes you think that I don't have rent, rates, or insurance to pay? Insurance alone cost me £2200 annually. I'm also one of Gordon Browns tax collectors! I'm not even going to mention the 30k's worth of tools, equipment & stock that I have, & on the wages front I have my two 'security' dogs to feed:D

A 500 mile service is usually free at a main STEALER though you usually pay for oil & filter.

Cheers.

Those would be the two that like to lick their victims to death then.

Life is good, work acutally have me doing something today!!

To settle the dealer vs small garage argument, I think that SV650Racer was just saying that they have minions that they need to feed. You know, the spotty 16yr old kid that services your bike first thing Saturday morning after a heavy night on the town. (SV650Racer, just playing ;) )

I can't say I noticed any difference after the service except that because the clutch had been adjusted, the biting point was a lot further out than I was used to. Still haven't got used to that

So what did everyone else pay for their 7500 service?

that will be Steve then!..told him he should get some spot cream:cool:

FYI - we have to pay over £9.5k a year in insurance..over £50k a year in rent..employ 4 mechanics..so working on labour versus chargeable hours..we have to charge £55p/h to cover costs. Shames me though when i see local Mercesdes dealers charging £120p/h now thats extortionate. I suppose someone needs to pay for their pretty pot plants:smt084

Unfortunatly thats the downside of being based in an area that has over priced property due to the above average earners that live round here. Hasten to add i live 40mins away!!:-$

Just like to say that I like your new showroom very much :D Much nicer having it all in one place, means I can look at the shiny bikes while waiting for my bikes roadtest to finish :)
