OK, just bike gear for us Essex chavs!

Thanks WRC, will have to try to get there early to avoid disappointment (they sold out by the time I got there last time).

We get fishing gear. Must be a comment on the weather, too wet for golf or biking...

It looks like my back protector but a bit different. It's a piece of hard plastic with some padding and straps to fit it. How difficult is that to produce and what benefit would one costing 4 or 5 times the amount give you. The only job it's got to do is spread the impact. And as it is CE approved then why not what it can't do is roll up or look cool - so what.
Anyway, it was you that posted the helmet test that pretty much promoted cheap helmets (Took a whole morning reading that one :roll:)

Bike gear for me (Reading store).... Will get out of work for an hour or so to try and get a back protector and waterproofs :-)

The waterproofs can cope with Scottish downpours (or even KNOCKHILL tidal waves), so there's not much wrong with those!

I tried all the Lidl stores within a suitable range on the Lidl website and they are all doing golf gear!

How **** is that! :(

Waterproofs and back protector would have been ideal!

I get golf. However, the last time I did get the tank bag - don't do it. Very few magnets in so whenever braking or accelerating is involved the bag takes a little longer to do it! So it's now been converted into a tail pack, which actually works pretty well, zips out and you get rucksac straps.http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...h/DSC02438.jpg
