Exactly as Hovis said, they could of claimed asylum in any number of European or even Asian countries, but they do so in Britain as the entire benefit system is ripe for abuse.

A friend of mine told me that the most registered boys name in Britain last year was Mohammed, i personally find that a bit shocking(i am unsure whether this is true, or whether my mate was pulling my leg).

I am only half English(better half is French), but i feel that France has a better system to deal with and indeed combat immigration. As a result of this France has maintained its own national identity...which sadly Britain IMO has lost.

Its all too late to do anything now anyway so we just have to live with it....or emigrate :p

AFAIK, a refugee has to take residence in the nearest country to them that is politically stable... therefore for most refugees between their countries and us there is Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland etc, so in theory they should never reach us, and at most just be taking the excess of what the other countries can't handle.... not, in my opinion, all of the refugees for the whole of Europe. But we are seen as a soft touch. In theory, we should be turning them away at the borders anyway to the last country they came from an so on so forth to the country closest that is stable... also once conflict is over they should be sent home.

Britain has always been a mongrel country with different nationalities making it up as a whole, and over history we have always been invaded by someone or intergrated with other nations (Romans Vikings Normans etc), but this is different and to be honest i am fed up of paying tax to support people that shouldn't be here in the first place... its bad enough having to pay for the scrotes on the dole who have no intention of going back to work :smt067.

Geniune refugees i don't have a problem with its the asylum seekers and illegle ones that really **** me off. And then the attitude when they get here of not even bothering to learn our language, or even accept our religion. starting up groups to blow us up because we do not conform to their ideas!!

Yep, it's called Sangat, a French staging post for shipping illegal immigrants over here. They'd say otherwise though ;)

True and Australia is one of the hardest to move to Canada and America are not far behind. You get scored on a points system, depending on age, education, job skill, you basically have to have something for that country to use but can't push natives out of there jobs or apply for jobs that can be done by someone already in the country.

The UK is a push over, it really ****es me off so much!!!:smt014
