had to scrape some ice off the car windscreen about a month ago. Getting colder and colder just in time for ecosse trip up north. need to get thermals out and fluffy pjs - dont know what Ill wear when I take bike gear off though lol

When we lived in Cornwall we thought that two nights of frost was a hard winter. Here we often get two weeks of frost at a time. Wifey turns the heating on, I get changed into shorts.

today I mainly got numb knees and sticky outy bits whilst out on the bike. it suddenly got rather cold in the Pennines

ground was all white today and I had to actually use the scrapper as opposed to just squirting windscreen wipers and its supposed to be the same tomorrow. summer is officially over lol

Worst year for weather in a long time. Last year we had a decent summer coupled with a late finish and I was riding the bike until the back end of October on a regular basis with it coming out of hibernation in January.

This year we've had much rain since about April, and now its missed autumn and gone straight to winter! I need some warm riding gear!
