I expect they would just say 'we'll be picking him up not long' or somesuch. I doubt they would bother and anyway as members of the public it would be their word just like any other driver would it not? And its rare anything seems to come of that. Unless they felt you endangered them.
Mind you, you may have been a little naughty ;)

iv only had my licence 3 months and its now been clean for a month :)
speed is only there to tempt me into evil

If its your first licence and you get 6 points in the first 2 years you lose it and have to retake the test......also dangrous driving you will lose it probally.

no i got 3 points for no L plates 4 years ago on my cagiva planet grr so im all clean now :)

I reckon the key question is "Did he have his blue lights on?"

If he did then that is when they would potentially get arsey with you and complain to the polis cos of the potential for obstruction further down the road. (Cage drivers are the main issue with this I think though)

If not then you should be ok i reckon.
