Get the land lord to sort it out...thats why you pay so much dam money to live there, i'm sure it will come under health and saftey regs somewhere.

The last time I fell over was a few years ago at a meeting, drank a bottle red then went upstairs to shower and change for dinner, I though err how can explain why it so long to shower. The guy on the same table did the same so I didn't feel that dumb after that:) Nice to know your not the only eh!

What ya saying? Yellow of course! You thinking I'm some kinda mamby pamby who would wear those terrible pink one's?

Back to topic, I must be missing something here? People calling for the Landlord to be taken to task due to the fact that a bath becomes slippery when wet!(I've heard that before somewhere) You cannot be for real? Is this what PC/Job's worth UK has become in my abscence? I cant believe the thinking would lean that way??

Maybe I am just so out of touch with the modern U.K.?

BUY NO BATH MAT :nomore:.

Hate those things - flying carpets more like and that's without the smell. Arrggh!

If you pop along to a good DIY shop, you should be able to get little self-adhesive shapes - you know dolphins, flowers, fish, clouds, whatever. These are a real good stick and are textured to make them anti-slip. They work magic and don't float around or harbour any crud. Much nicer than those wretched things.

Garry;)

Another useful tip is to attach a couple of those nail emery boards to each foot with a rubber band. The abrasive surface will help you when standing in the bath.;)

Nothing like that my friend. Its one of those cases where its just the landlords responsibility is all. Like if a kid threw a stone and broke your window it wold be the lanlord you report it to and he would have to get it sorted for you.
Just one of the luxuries of renting tbh.
And also if you do whats suggested below......

.... some landlords will then say "who the hell gave you the right to attach things to my bath? Now i have to pay someone to remove them and the cost comes out of your deposit!" So its always a good idea to inform your lanlord of any issues like this.

I must say that i didnt know they sold those things over here now but Viney thats what i'd reccomend far more than the bacteria hotel that bath mats are.
But run it by your landlord and if he's sensible he'll probably pay for them too and that way they're his so when you do leave this place they will be there for the next people.

I used to have the dolphins on my bath in lanzarote :D
