The thing to remember is you don't have a car and bike licence. You have a driving licence with both car and bike entitlements. The same reason that points/ban on the bike effects the car is the same reason that you don't have 2 provisional periods. |

what if someone has passed his car test 8 years ago abroad, moved to the UK, changed the license to an UK one and passed the bike test 6 months ago? :) |
Re: Banned???
Cheers, there's no trouble... I hope ;)
as I said... just curious... |
Re: Banned???
You only get a choice of three points or a speedchoice workshop depends on where you were flashed. If it was in Bristol and you were less than 40 in a 30 limit you will get the option, it still costs £60 but you don't get the points. Oddly it's a good course, strange how I know that. ;)

Re: Banned???
I think you should be banned, that's disgraceful rider/driver behaviour. Despite this I may be able to help...
... How much do you want for the Daytona? :D:D:D |

A probationary driver is deemed as probationary for 2 years after they obtain their first full licence. It does not matter which category of vehicle this is for. After 2 years you are deemed to have gained enough experience and roadcraft/sense to lose your probationary status. If you pass a test later on for another category of vehicle to add to your licence, you will not be deemed probationary again. Driver licence checking is becoming fairly big business. We do it via XML with the DVLA. It costs us £3.50 to check somones licence. Tim. |
