Re: Looking young... Doing my head in!

I got ID'd when we went to order food on a Spearies curry night... :(
I am 18, usually get mistaken for older.. Apart from when I order food aparantly..
I think its because I am tall, large frame(beer belly) and usually with people older than me..
Just starting to shave quite regularly... Its depressing.. I fancy some decent trouble..

I would make the most of looking young, just violate the younger(than you) girls it helps you pull ;)

I know how you feel mate I'm 18 dont care about getting ID'd for cigs and booze but that doesent really happen any more most people have seen me that much but I got ID'd for a lottery ticket by a lass that was in the year below me at school and i flew off the handle. I've found that if i go some where in the car i get ID'd more than if im on the bike?

Anyway, what does it matter? Yeah it's an annoyance but at the end of the day once a girl bothers to get to know you I'm sure she'll be old enough to realise you're older.....

If all else fails....take your shirt off, you were in the RAF weren't you? :-P

Ha ha, might be ok later in the year, might just get a cold at the moment :smt037

Actually, im similar, I dont really hold age against people at all, unfortunatly many people dont do the same...

Yeah coz usually it's scraggy teenagers trying to make themselves look older :)

I work with mainly late 20's and early 30s people and most are baby faced (stublewise)- still look their age though.

I have trouble convincing people I'm 21, they all seem to guess nearer 30. Between that and dodging jailbait I think I got the sh*tty end of the stick actually...

I haven't been asked for my age since 1977.

Old Noah the git who ran the Bird and Bastard in Leyland got me with, "Your not 17"!

"Oh yes I am" says me. "Well you can Feck off you have to be 18 to drink in here"

slightly annoying as I was used to a pie and pint for my lunch since age 13, even in school uniform. You just needed to know the right places, and for them to know you

Last time I was asked for ID in a supermarket was when I was 39.

If it happens again, I might claim to be 17 to see if they believe me.

Not older, just somewhere near my age, I mean 23 nearly 24 and looking 16 (and they probably only go for that because they realise im working!) infact to some people I must look under 16, I did get asked if I was over 16 for a lottery ticket... lol
