Re: friend car driver gave this to me
you make a very good point tonyk.
wheres all the claret? if the rider went over the top of the car then maybe no blood from him, but the driver & passengers of the car would need to be mopped up. seems to me to be a very graphic illustration of what 'can' happen, not what actually did. poss' created in one of those vehicle safety test centres then placed in a public street to give to realism to the picture. still - makes you not want to attempt those speeds, especially in the snow Alan |
Re: friend car driver gave this to me
There was never a real outcome. It was just decided by (us talking about it previously) that the car was damaged by some other means, and the bike slide inside to provide a story...
But wasn't 155mph Wasn't a 750 3 people were not in the car. The "so called" accident did not happen in the snow. Think it was just used as a "speed kills" scare tatic at a bike show abroad. If 3 people died, how much money was spent on hiring someone to clean up all the bodies mess, then re-build the car, put the bike back inside (for 155mph, that back end done well to stay intact 100% dont you think, esp if it rolled the car over......), then transport it all to a show. |

Like I said earlier, that's my blue nylon anorak in the corner, I'll take it with me. |
Re: friend car driver gave this to me
But did you notice the boring standard wheels on the car?No slotted mags on there eh?Now that would have made a good talking point.:D
The car would make a great training mule for the cut and shut brigade though. |
