I too have had both a K3 650S and a thou. I love the thou and have no problem with the handling at all. I either got very used to it or it's almost as nimble as the 6 1/2. The suspension and brakes are much, much better and the grunt is great. Black frame and wheels are available from K5 as with the 650 and you can still get an all black S from KJM Superbikes near Wigan for a good price. I originally wanted a blue K3S like my 6 1/2 for the sporty look of the higher tail but the GSXR colours on my thou have now grown on me. Girth's bike looks fantastic though .

A restricted 1000

Mental I tell thee. Wait till you get it took off... Dang does it pull!!!!!!!!! Its sooo different from a 650. (At least when the clutch don't slip :smt096 ).

Is it the same as the falco... Any higher than 3rd in 30 zone and it gets a little choppy? I think the falco's gearing might be higher though... #-o

does the thou suffer from the "water in the front plug" problem like the 650?

You cannot through it around as much as the 650,

AFAIK they made the steering geometry much less aggressive than the TL series and 650, as well as making it pointy. (yuck)

Surely thats achievable through changing dog bones/dropping forks in yokes?
