Do not drop the forks more than 12mm, your front wheel will start to hit the radiator/cylinder.

I also only recommend you drop the forks by 10mm overall if you have the springs and oil changed to suit your weight.

Ground clearance is plops as it is ... don't drop the front, raise the rear ;)

Ha Dave, yes sorry I meant "drop the forklegs" (and raise the front) again so they come back into original position. Thanks for being concerned :-D

No kiddin, I could do that, cause I still have the oem springs hanging around :eek:.
Just have to find some 0.001W forkoil.

Use tap water and a little blended salmon. Should give OEM feel and smell when you replace it.

:lol: ... I meant put them back to stock setting in the yokes (i.e. with only the fork cap showing), not stock springs etc!!
