That's terrible news. I love watching the 125 and 250 races and if they're dropped by the BBC that would be a crying shame.

Oh, and I read recently that Toby Moody has been linked with the F1 commentating job with the BBC!

Ive tried watching the BBC coverage this morning to get an idea of what it might be like next season. Terrible is the only way i can describe it. Wooden, without any sort of buzz about it and not loud enough

there was an amusing comment on yesterday's cmomentary about this. a few bikes of the 16 starters had crashed, meaning that any bike which finished would score points, so Toby said to Randy "get on the two-seater & go and get some points" to which Randy replied "
maybe next year, I'll have more time" :D

Eurosport has annoying advert breaks.

But BBC will have to pull the finger out big time though.

Isn't 125 and 250 on bbc digital?

It is on BBCi via the red button. Couple of times though (one of which was China when i was up at 4.30am to watch it) it didn't start transmitting until late and missed the 125 race. V V V annoying :smt067

I have to agree that the commentry isn't anything close to the quailty on the Eurosport team. However the interviews Suzi gets with the riders on the Grid are quite a nice feature.

Also you can catch the main race at anytime on Iplayer too (Now if only they put the 125's, 250's and Qualifying on that!)

i like the idea of it being on bbc because the production (not sure if this is the right term) will be soooo much better. how often do eurosport go for ads at stuid times or play the opening credits twice in quick succession or something similar?! which i find incredablly annoying. however i agree that the commentary on bbc is rubbish and would love to see the whole eurosport team move in (although i do like suzi perry ) and moto gp would definately loose out to f1, but then i enjoy that as well. so am not too bothered.

Funny that, Charlie Cox said something very similar on BBC's coverage. It sounds like I'm on my own here but I actually prefer the BBC's production. Parrish and Cox's commentary is perfectly acceptable, Suzi Perry is liked by all the riders so gets interviews with pretty much anyone she likes (loved the way Nicky Hayden took the pi$$ with her yesterday) and there are no ads.

Remember that the BBC's interactive capabilities are far superior to any other channel so coverage of all the races shouldn't be aproblem for them at all, although Sky+ing red button stuff is so far impossible to my knowledge (for Supervox).

Also, on a bit of a tangent, Has anyone else noticed that Warren Pole looks and sounds like he really can't be ar$ed in the studio presenting the Superbikes?

I just cant listen to Charlie Cox, it was making me fall asleep! At least Julian & Toby always have something to talk about even if it isnt what we are watching at that time whereas the BBC just seem to rigid

To me the main difference between the two sets of commentators are...

Eurosport = Serious fans as well as commentators. They know their stuff inside out.

BBC = Just doing a job. Not really arsed what's going on. If it's not on the fact sheet, they haven't a clue.
