Someone near where my other half lives uses the deter-a-cat thing, apparently it works fine ;)

One of my work colleagues assures me that the soundwave thingy makes the cats in his area flock - in his words " they like ****ing to music"! But he stuck cocktail sticks in (he has kids) and apparently it is working.
Wouldn't like to pick em out before mowing the lawn though! |

How about a garden sprayer rigged to a a sensor? Otherwise for a long term solution get a dog that eats cats... it could be a short term solution if its fast.

home base and dobbies do something called lion poo or something you just sprinkle a wee bit in the corners of your garden and it scares normal sized cats off. dont know if this has already been suggested no time to read all posts
