Could always try running the network setup wizard to try to remedy the settings problem - start / programs / accessories / communications / network setup wizard

Righto OK so you are getting an IP addres so that means your desktop is talking to the wireless router OK.
on that same screen should be another one of those daft numbers. next to it it will say "Default Gateway" type in this ping x.x.x.x ( substitute x.x.x.x for the number next to default gateway ) and then hit return. let me know what that does this should confirm whether your desktop is talking to the router OK. |

oh 4 get that i made an error. i didnt leave a gap before first numbers after the ping bit- me so rubbish me well bad and I know it thouugghh
oo there is lots.. 32 bytes of data 4 reports and a time for the round trip? make sense? |
