its a pity it wasent next week m8, i'll have a full brand new set from a k8. forks, yokes, mudguard, bolts, brakes, wheel, tyre, rear shokky and probebly a rear tyre up for graps, basically take ur castel nuts ignitian and controlls and put these on. and i'm in fife and would deliver.. mabee even fit if i had the time.. price wise .. around £500

plans have moved further ahead... parts i was wating on are here so swap goes ahead 2morra....

so there will be a full new set of forks avalible for saturday .. if i can arange it (depending on how buisy my mate is) i can have bike picked up and droped off aswel. so you should be on your way sunday no problems

Front brake pads (assuming the discs and calipers are from different bikes).
Front brake caliper seal kit (if calipers require re-build)
Front Tyre (120/70 R17)
Head race bearings
Front wheel bearings
Front fork oil / service

As you can see, none of this is beyond reason, but it all adds up, most of the people that have broken even on a GSXR conversion have been very careful about buying parts over time when they came up at the right price. If you want the bike back on the road right now, you need pretty much the whole lot above to come up in good condition, undamaged for a good price. You will be buying parts of unknown history so forks and brake calipers should be serviced.

Faced with that list, it's important to know what's wrong with your bike in some detail. If it's just the forks damaged, you can just pay to replace them, and look at a GSXR or similar front end in your own time.
