Oh no Sam :( I never got to meet him sadly but from pictures, he was a gorgeous looking dog.

Jeez Sorry to hear Sam, He was a lovely dog have always tried to keep up with how he was going but didnt know he was ill. Hugs to you and James and hope the heartache heals with time.

Thank you all for your kind words, he was a truely remarkable dog.

I let Mina out this morning and she ran round the garden looking for him, that broke my heart and started me crying again. He really took over our lives and we loved spending our time doing things he loved to do, the racing, weight pull, obedience classes which he loved most of all as he loved to perform.

I know the pain will ease day by day and we are hanging on to all the good times we had.

I only got to meet him as a puppy and was looking forward to meeting him at AR! My heart felt sympathies to you both for your loss but as people have said you really did make the right choice for Lupo.
