Did you manage to find any blanking plates for the holes the originals left, the only ones I can find at the moment are part of the ROCA conversion kit, and I can't even find that for sale anywhere.

Look harder.....

Aha, fantastic. Thanks for that, I was searching specifically for 'ROCA', which is the brand listed in the howto's, I think this must be the same one.

Shame I can't find any for sale on there own. I think I'm set on trying to get a 2nd hand pair of gixxer indicator/mirrors to fit.

Not sure if I can warrant another £40 and the additional blinkers in the lamps just to get a hold of the blanking plates. It might be a bit of overkill too, too many flashing lights might trigger a traffic light disco or something... ;)

You don't have to wire the indies into the headlights but that is what most people normally do hence them selling a kit to do it

If you don't mind spending some serious cash you could get Rizoma mirrors. Or you could figure out a way to get new GSXr mirrors to mount. I'm trying to do this myself.

Wow, those rizoma's are a bit trick, but the sports model look a bit disjointed for a faired bike:

Still no joy on finding the blanking plates sold separately, my google searches have started returning this thread as the number 3 hit, wwhich is telling me something I think.

I might just mail banditmania and ask if they sell them separately.

Don't even bother wasting your phonecall or your breath / email or whatever. I already asked the same question and the response amounted to "we only sell them as part of the kit - are you stupid or something?" Anyway, customer service was not the impression that I came away with....

Yeah, Blandit mania are renowned for having a terrible customer service.

Good news! Just received my lovely perfect condition gsx-r mirrors.
Bad news! They don't rotate around the base hinge, so they're useless :(

The only bit that move on them is actually the glass of the mirror, all the housing is solid and unadjustable.

Grrr!

Unless I can come up with some easy fix, I think they'll be going back on ebay.

when you say useless .. how?

Re: After market mirrors

If the GSRX ones fitted, we'd all be fitting them. I did see some mirrors with or without indicators which fitted 650s on a dutch site, but they are very similar to the ones in the Busters catalogue.
If I can find the site again, I'll post the link
