Probably get back into mountain biking instead and lose some of the spare tyre I carry around. Will also allow me to get some use out of the bullet cam and solid state recorder which I ordered the other day to use when I take trainees out (IAM stuff) and hasn't even arrived yet :( |
Re: When to sell my SV1000 now or spring?
Ah, he forgot one vital piece though - it passes underneath the wife's "danger, danger!" radar... ;)
I have only driven one for a day at Silverstone (not on track) in a drift day sort of thing (not really a drift day - just a bit of fun with a coned out course). But the way I feel about them is that on the nippy country lanes, etc, I wouldn't want to be in a big, bulky, "normal" car - a bike preferably, but the caterham is a good compromise. Also they have enough to be able to overtake other cars much more easily than "normal" cars, although not as easily as bikes! They have the upside of a bit of ****-out action being possible, a lot more skill required for that on a bike ;) I'm only thinking from a cars/bikes POV though, if a mountain bike satisfies your passion then you're sorted, that's a lot cheaper... |
