No injuries though- so thats all right!

Where abouts did it happen? Mortimer was covered in ice.. Don't know whether you still go that way? I was lucky and drove in this morning, ice and black ice absolutely everywhere.

James, during this weather I'm taking the main roads to work, except the very first part round the base road. Have a guess where it happened.

I was about a mile and half from my house.

Glad you're okay Si. I came off yesterday too, almost identical situation, in a stright line one second, on my ass the next. :( Creepy. Bike is not too bad, need new bar ends and a mirror. Thank the biking gods for R&G bungs. Typical, it was my first day back on the bike after breaking my little toe and I go and bin it. Doh! Honda make them crashable. ;)

Dare I say it but those stupid 3 wheel motorbikes might be better for riding on ice. Dare I say it, have we finally found a purpose for them....I hope sincerely hope not!

Cold fingers going into town last night - glad it wasn't the sticks like you lot though. :(

Three wheels? Never. Might have to start using car more though. Or cycling.

Car/public transport is not an option for me. If it is so bad that I really cant risk going to work the I'll just work from home. If it that bad then I dont believe that I will be the only person claiming that they cant come in!

So to hijack Mr Ape but we know you're okay now so shift over! :D I'm fine bike is relatively fine (it's a Honda afterall). Twisted my hip/pelvis somehow though so there will be no shennanigans in the bedroom for a while. :D Well, about a day.

Like I said glad you're okay. Yesterday was very strange, it felt cold but looked okay. Just goes to show you can't even be too careful.
