Had a good day. Weekend hopefully will be better, asuming I don't freeze my a**e off on my DAS. Having a night on the town with my partner on Saturday to celebrate one year since we met. Shaping up to be a great weekend.

erm NO! after spending 3 weeks planning something at work some idiot came to tell me that it wasn't going ahead.........needless to say it is going ahead and a few kind words were exchanged with him and his boss ;)

but it messed up my day really!!

Well yesterday I pi$$ed off the whole lab by stinking it all out (had an accident resulting in trimethyl phosphite fumes getting out. I tried so hard to keep it all contained :(), and today I cleaned out my fume cuboard and all the stinky glassware and everything. I may have even made what I set out to make....providing it didnt all end up in the dewar of ethylene glycol being used to provide a medium to chill my reaction flask in

there was some green stuff in it. last time i did this chemical reaction (sharpless asymmetric epoxidation, for those who like to know) I got a nice green oil...

we find out tomorrow

On the ratmobile?

My day was alright, not bad, not great.

Although my journey home really f###ed me off!!
Driving home (bike's got problems :() some D1ck in a van cuts me up on a roundabout and not too long after decides to run a red light over a blind hump-back bridge. T##T!!! I'd hate to think what would've happened if there was a bike coming over

Thinking about it again has annoyed me now! Grrrrrrrrr :smt097
