Re: helmet painting?
You do realise that a black square with a yellow cross means that you're a novice licence holder in car racing terms, don't you? It's the car racing equivalent of the orange bib used by bike racers.

Re: helmet painting?
I don't watch football or take the slightest bit of interest in it because of the needless violence that surrounds it, so hadn't a clue

Yellow is good!!! (and easy to aquire) You can get blank sheets of yellow vinyl used for number plate backgrounds on dirtbikes at most Motorcycle supply stores. Most come 3 sheets to a pack. Flexible, sticks great, super tough and is UV resistant. I used some last weekend to put some stars on my helmet...not quite finished yet..(will try to get a pic tommorrow) Note: Sign vinyl looks better ...If properly applied looks like a paint job. But .....is hard to apply and not as durable as the MX suff. Gotta be careful even when cleaning it. The MX stuff is rough and tuff and can withstand the normal bumps and knocks a helmet gets. (off the rider)and does not scratch or scuff easily. But up close...yes...it's a sticker. ....of course having a pro paint it would be best. |
