Now is the time to buy this sort of product, as retailers are desperate to sell anything, if I'm to believe what the news says.

Still dead envious :smt019

Then spend the money you would be spending on the Tv, and get your peepers lasered.

Chap at work needed milk bottle bottom prescription lenses until he had his eyes done.

He never looked back since :p

What resolution is it running? If it isnt 1080p I really wouldnt bother.

The giveaway is the little sticker which will either say HD Ready, or Full HD. If its just HD ready, it isnt really worth it. IMHO

I was actually booked in to have it done last year, but after reading the consent form, chickened out. Stuff about eyeball rupture, yuk. Besides, I'm not that bad, only -2 in each eye, so thin lenses.

May think about it in future....

Yes, it is a bit scary when you read the small print.

My colleague did his research a choose a clinic which had a good reputation before biting the bullet.

I'm trying get my wife to have hers done.

Enjoy the TV instead, both of them!

Cheers, will do. Next time I won't read the small print while on 4th beer, I'm sure that didn't help matters:D
